Aquarius, the water bearer, the 11th Zodiac
So many shoots happened over the last few weeks its been fantastic.

The first of which was with Lauren aka ~lauriegirl48. Was the first in the Zodiac series i have planned. Was a tricky shoot as all the people i usually use as assistants/ Hair Bitch McNijas were busy or my sister who is as co-operative as a rhino on speed. Lauren was brilliant, putting up with the cold for so long she actually turned blue and i had to edit the colour back into her face. I love you hon!



The shoot going to happen in the Zodiac series is with Lucy, who will be my Virgo. This Virgo shoot was actually meant to happen a few weeks ago. But the gold coast put on some bad weather for us ( by bad weather i mean wind blowing down electricity poles and trees and such heavy rain bridges flooded and it was too dangerous for Lauren to drive out to assist on the shoot). So Lucy, Liv and i thought it was a good idea to go and do a shoot on the beach. It was a bad bad move children. It was pouring and the wind blew sand everywhere. Im so grateful, i have been so lucky with all my models who all have this incredible 'arrrgh, toughen up princess' attitude in even the worse conditions. Thanks so much to all of you!

The next Shoot happened when I went with Lauren to a jam session with Tay and Timmy. I bought Hamish along to capture the lol's ( of which there are alot around Tay and Timmy, they are craaazy children). Afterwards we decided to go in search of food and V and on the way found a nearly deserted bus depo. and took some pics.

Fairy Tale Crime Shoot-Peter Pan
Meeting Timmy was a blessing as my Fairytale shoot was on hold as my Peter Pan (chris aka Emmett from my Twilight shoots) was not only overseas, but in hospital overseas with Malaria (Dont worry, he is much better now ^^). So after much convicing from Tay, Tim agreed to be my Peter Pan.

What my neighbours would have seen if they had walked past my place. But they didn't...I was mildly disappointed. I was looking forward to the odd looks when they thought someone had died in my driveway.Oh well, next time ^^

Thanks very much to Tom and Jared who helped me finish off the bottle of absinthe the night before the shoot. Jared learnt never ever to Fall asleep/unconcious around Tom and I as he woke up with Permanent Marker all over him, his makeup and nail polish (pretty pink) done and a Ronald McDonald smile painted on his face with long lasting makeup. It was brilliant.^^

Have also been practicing my special effects makeup so i can get better for my shoots. I've just been using any of my friends who will sit still for long enough, when that doesn't work i use myself (half the time forgetting to wash it off, people think I'm being abused).






my first ever attempt, not happy with how the cut turned out, the the lip and bruise worked, i thought. (chris insisted on going out to the shops like this, strange boy that one)












Make up done on myself. None of them are perfect, but I'm happy with the fact I'm improving and these are effects i'll be able to use in my shoots


It's been really hard to find any books on how to do any special effects makeup, so if anyone knows of any good ones, please let me know.

Been Hanging out with some other photographers lately, which has been amazing. My boyfriends brother Grant is really into photography and I'm hoping he and i will be able to go out and take some pics sometime.

Mike's parents went on a cruise to alska 2 weeks ago so we all had a party at his place and Grant and i both took some pics.




yeaaaah we deserve each other. lol

It should also be known that i beat every single one of the boys at poker. Again ^^

Commisions

Completed a commission for Kirsty not long ago. Went with her and her daughter Georgie to the beach for some family shots.
